Lakewood Academy is a 100% citizen owned company. The Academy began operations in 2017, with the mandate of providing educational counsellors, tutors and mentors to support students in achieving their academic potential.

Prior to its recognition by the Ministry of Education and Company Act, it has seen that students develop an enthusiasm for learning. The empathy, creativity, intelligence and communication skills mirrored by the staff led to its recognition.

In 2021, Lakewood Academy was established and registered under the Education Act of Botswana and the Company Act. We are an English medium learning centre but continuously bettering and diversifying our standards with inclusivity, multilingualism, dignity and mostly academic excellence.

We intend to contribute to society though pedagogy and learning. We offer full time and part time classes for the following syllabi, A Levels, IGCSE, BGCSE, JCSE and PLSE.

We offer prospective students a three day free trial to get a feel for the Academy and the learning environment. Learners get a chance to interact and get to know their tutors and other fellow pupils, we want them to feel safe and welcome.
